These little fellows live outside my room on the ceiling of the balcony where I hang MY laundry to dry. Look at their lovely velvety looking cloaks, their eyes and their little ears that they waggle and wiggle whenever I go out there to chat with them; in China they are good fortune.

Pearly and Chandra took me to the Tropical Fruit Garden today, and we plowed through this enormous plate of fresh fruit in just a jiffy. It was a birthday festival - my favorite kind!!

These clouds over the neighbors' house moved me to photograph, and I am delighted with the way this little Nikon CoolPix captures things like clouds.
We went to the jetties to eat fish tonight, and I was drawn to the colors and the textures of the little houses along the docks.

Across the street we could see the towers of apartment buildings looming over the city.
On the way to the fish place, we passed this little house right on the water. "No parking" says it all; the traffic along the road here is prodigious.

THIS is where we will try tomorrow night!

We licked the platters clean and drank our beers dry.

Leaving the jetty - a rather evocative night scene a la what's his name...
